About Romano Florist

Located at 206 Hanover St, Boston, MA 02113, Romano Florist operates as a florist serving Boston in Massachusetts. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Boston, the busiest days for florists are Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the weeks before prom and Christmas, when prices rise and delivery windows fill up, so order several days ahead. Across Massachusetts, delivery fees depend on distance, and hospitals and funeral homes have their own drop-off hours. For a wedding, book a consultation six to twelve months out and bring photos and a budget; for sympathy flowers, the shop can deliver straight to the funeral home if you give the service time. Check the listing for hours, delivery area and Google rating, and call to confirm what is in season.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 1–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Romano Florist at (617) 523-4854; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 24 reviews, which is a strong result for a florist in Boston and suggests consistent service.

Boston is in Massachusetts, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Boston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Massachusetts's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great price especially for in Boston. Flowers were very fresh and lasted a long time. 10/10

I wonder what happened with my experience that differed so extremely from everyone else’s. My boyfriend got charged 40 dollars for a bouquet that would be sold at any grocery store for 12.99 and told that that was the price because of two roses in the bouquet. He was told there were no cheaper options and was very clearly ripped off of for what he was given. The owner told him he’d only get charged 35 and he received no change back either. They didn’t even bother to wrap the flowers and left them in the same plastic wrap one would receive at a grocery store. Very disappointed with the service received here.

Absolutely must buy flowers from here! The owner is 85 years old and the shop has been in operation since 1940. Beautiful legacy !

A downright lovely spot for walk-ins! I don't know the lady's name running the store, but I told her my budget and she quickly put together a wonderful bouquet! Thank you!
